Cleaning Supervisor night shift - Ulster University

Main Purpose of Role

Reporting to the Facilities Services Manager, the role holder will lead, support and guide their team to ensure that exceptional service levels are provided to our customer.

Summary:

Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire a Cleaning Supervisor on Night Shift  This is a position that will suit an organised and energetic candidate with exceptional cleaning standards. The main purpose of the role for the Cleaning Supervisor is to ensure that their allocated area and team meets the required specification whilst adhering to defined procedures and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that staff are adhering to policies and procedures on site
• Ensure that staff are achieving the required cleaning standard
• Monitor staff timekeeping and attendance
• Monitor cleaning standards daily
• Assess performance of staff and identify training needs
• Ensure that equipment is clean and well maintained
• Respond to management and client needs as may be required
• Carry out regular and thorough inspections/audits

Key Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Service Supervisor/Manager or in a similar occupation.
• 2 years’ experience of face-to-face client-focused work.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills as the provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role
• High standards of personal presentation
• Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor role
• Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office & various software systems
• Use of cleaning industry machinery
