Reporting into: Key Account manager and Client management team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. Security Monitoring and Incident Management
- Ensure the protection of company staff, guests, and assets through diligent
monitoring of Access Control Systems, CCTV, Incident Management Systems, and
Dispatch Control Room.
- Monitor CCTV feeds and action door alarms, including loaner badge
activations/deactivations
- Follow escalation procedures to notify security management of any critical
incidents, unsafe conditions, or technical failures
- Document and record security activity observed during scheduled shifts and
escalated incidents.
- 2. Analytical Support
- Support analytical product production to support travel and risk programs
- Utilize geographic information systems to ascertain potential risk and incidents
near the company’s assets
- Provide situational awareness of global issues through internet observation, news
media reporting, and intergroup communication with other support elements.
- 3. Communication and Coordination
- Create accurate communications logs, report incidents in dedicated case
management databases, and share appropriately
- Facilitate dissemination of information to mobilize necessary resources, ensuring
regional staff can mitigate immediate risks and incidents
- Engage and collaborate with GSOC other RSOC and control room teams globally
to stay updated and provide support as needed
- Open source monitoring during special events, security incidents, disasters, and
other crises on a global scope.
- 4. Customer Service and Support
- Provide security assistance, answer questions, and serve as the security concierge
for employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Badge printing and crisis communications.
- 5. Policy and Procedure Compliance
- Carry out policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
- Perform any additional duties as required by Global Security management.
- 6. Special Projects and Ad Hoc Duties
- Other ad hoc duties or special projects as assigned by Global or regional security
management.
- 7. Decision Making and Problem Solving
- Make intelligent decisions reflecting maturity, patience, intelligence, and a cogent interpretation of all meaningful information.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge and familiarity with computers and security equipment, including CCTV
monitors (Milestone, Lenel, Valor) and Basic Life Safety systems.
- Basic understanding of incident response, Crisis Management, Incident
Management, and Emergency Response using communication channels, including
Slack, Everbridge, email (via G-suite), video calls, and phone systems.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules, including holidays, nights, and
weekends, to adapt to the 24/7 operational needs.
- Experience in security, medical emergency services, law enforcement, military, or
customer service is helpful.
- Ability to work comfortably in a team environment as well as individually.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and attention to detail capabilities.
- Ability to master the company's computer-based technologies.
- Display creative thinking and consulting skills to deliver a continually improving
service.
- Suggest best practices, resources, and industry standards.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in military service, government, law enforcement,
private security, corporate intelligence, or a related field.
- Multilingual proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in security policies, best practices, and procedures, with a
customer service mindset.
- Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to take urgent calls from concerned
stakeholders with patience and professionalism.
- Ability to monitor the news, social media, other information feeds and quickly
determine the impact of security events and crises on business operations.
- Excellent research skills, with the ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and “sift” large
quantities of information from a range of sources, Ability to interpret, organize and
visualize data.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to provide thoughtful insight into complex Situations
with attention to detail.
- High level of competency with MS Office tools and potentially Lenel, Jira, Milestone,
Everbridge, VCC, Dataminr and associated apps/channels to support his work.
- Willingness to work on a flexible shift rotations, including on nights, weekends and
public holidays
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (political science, international relations, criminal
justice, intelligence studies, homeland security, etc.) OR formal
government/military/law enforcement intelligence training
- Knowledgeable of how to leverage social media, news media, and other online
sources for open source intelligence (OSINT)
- Understanding of how to evaluate information sources for accuracy and reliability
- Guard Card or Guard Card Equivalent in respective state or country
