About The Role

Shift Pattern: 

OOH Shift 1 – 2x days Sat and Sun followed by 7 Nights then 5 off

OOH Shift 2- 2x Nights, 5 Off, 2x days followed by 7 nights

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Front of House Receptionist, who will work at our client’s premises. This is a high-profile Front of House Receptionist position; you therefore must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

The receptionist is required to provide an efficient, effective, and professional service. Excellent timekeeping is essential.

Purpose of Role

To provide an efficient, polite and welcoming reception service. 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Have previous experience in a similar position
  • Have a calm personality and be capable of controlling all situations
  • Be proactive, hardworking, and professional by nature
  • Be able to work independently, but also as an effective member of a team
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Good communication skills with the ability to deliver clear verbal and written reports where necessary
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, appearance and attitude
  • High standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability

Client responsibilities and Duties

  • To develop excellent relationships with all Tenants, management and external contractors and suppliers
  • To ensure the delivery of a high level of customer service
  • To ensure all telephone calls, both incoming and outgoing, are dealt with in a timely, efficient and polite manner to ensure all queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • To ensure the reception area is tidy and well presented at all times.. 
  • To ensure a high level of communication is maintained with all relevant individuals.
  • Support the management team during any emergency procedures.
  • Manage all aspects of the car park staff and tenant parking. 
  • Manage the buildings lost & found property.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude
  • Display an outstanding level of customer focus and understand the reasons for it
  • Ability to take responsibility for problems that client staff and visitors may have Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Display the highest standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Bidvest Noonan and the client
  • Carry out all reception duties as agreed with the site and as stated in the Assignment Instructions
  • Respond to all incidents
