Title: IWS Technician
Location: Leixlip, Co. Kildare
Hourly Rate: TBC
Hours: Requirement to work Compressed Work Week shift:
Rotating shift involves:
Day Shift Rota - 1 month / 4 weeks
Night Shift Rota - 1 month / 4 weeks
BE-FE Rota Swap - 6 monthly
Hours of work 06:50 - 19:10 and 18:50 – 07:10:
Shift Allowance will be included
Position: Full-time
About the Role:
As IWS Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in every aspect of the job. You will actively promote and maintain a positive safety culture while delivering high-quality technical services.
Key Responsibilities of the IWS Technician include but are not limited to:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Ensure monitoring of systems through Rounds and Readings
- Probe Cleans
- Media Harvest
- Bag Filter Changes
- Basket Strainer Cleans
- Motor Bearings Greasing
- Technical Skills
Key Requirements of the IWS Technician:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to working independently, collaborating effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Be able to work from heights and climb ladders.
- Be able to perform job roles and responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment.
- Be able to maintain detailed and accurate records.
- Be able to follow procedures.
- Safe use and understand hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
Desirable:
Fully qualified Technician / Fitter / Plumber /Mechanic
NCEA Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of FETAC / NQF level 6 or 7.
