Title: Account Manager
Location: Oxford, Oxford University.
Pay: £50,000 + Car or Car Allowance
Shift: Monday to Friday
You'll ensure that the agreed contract management at the designated account is delivered in line with all Bidvest Noonan Facility Services processes and procedures and in line with the agreed specification and tender documentation agreed with the clients.
The Service Manager will report to the Key Account Director and is a position within Bidvest Noonan Facility Services and as such they are required to build relationships with the respective Clients, Key Stakeholders and all Bidvest Noonan Facility Services employees working onsite. That they promote a compliant, customer focused, and trained workforce and that all business activity is completed in a professional manner with the interests of the business and the client in mind.
This role is predominately based at the Campus, with some travelling for other business activity as required.
Key Accountabilities
- To manage the Cleaning and associated services at the clients site
- To work with the Key accounts director and Client team to develop and further enhance the contract including additional services tenders and strategic direction
- To ensure financial budgets and targets are achieved
- To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety aspects of Contract Management
- Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety Legislation
- Observe Client and Company statutory fire and safety regulations and promote safe working practices
- Undertake measures to create a pro-active culture to Health & Safety by all ISS employees and specialist subcontractors involved in this contract
- Ensure all subcontractors are inducted to site and provided with access and security requirements
- Ensure all relevant risk assessments and documentation for permit to work are reviewed and recorded prior to specialist subcontractor work being undertaken on site
- Ensure all quality and compliance audits are carried out by the Supervisory/Management Team in line with the Audit Schedule
- Conduct audits on standards, SLA’s and H&S in line with the Audit Schedule
- Ensure all issues resulting from audits are actioned within given timeframes
- Ensure all buildings within Campuses are physically visited at least once/month
- Liaise with the client representatives and resolve all contractual queries
- Promptly deal with complaints and service requests
- Take accountability for the day to day successful delivery of the service
- Continually monitor effective and efficient opportunities to improve services and productivity
- Ensure services are provided within budget and all financial controls are adhered to
- Immediately report to designated person any discrepancies to the monthly figures that may have a detrimental effect on the P&L account
- Ensure completion of any financial trackers and forecasting documentation are sent to the Key Accounts Director by the required deadline
- Ensure all Statutory Compliance and Health and Safety documentation is constantly up to date
- Ensure all employee personnel records are maintained and filed securely
- Ensure the DBS and Right to Work processes are carried out and documentation is complete for the specific site requirements
Experience & Skills required
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent customer service
- Effective communication skills using multiple approaches to effectively manage staff and site issues
- Works collaboratively with others, involving and encouraging other team members
