About The Role

Angel lane Cleaning Operative

Shifts – Willing to work between 8 hour shifts, days, nights and weekends where required.

Reporting To – Cleaning Manager

Pay –£14.00 an hour.

Location – City of London near to Bank Station

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•           To play a key part in providing service excellence across cleaning provisions

  • Will always need to attend Angel Lane at the start of shift.
  • •           Time keeping being paramount to cover rostered shift by specified time
  • Cover any gaps on site within cleaning provision
  • •           To assist the cleaning supervisors/managers in the smooth running of day-to-day operations

 

STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Provide exceptional service and high level of detail during, ensuring all health & safety standards are met, procedures and policies are adhered to.

 

  • •           Ensure safe working practices through Health & Safety standards.
  • •           Ensure all areas are kept clean in accordance with cleaning schedules.
  • •           Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets agreed site specifications standards through the completion of cleaning schedules.
  • •           Ensure all reactive work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently.
  • •           Wear and maintain work wear provided.
  • •           Meet company expectations in relation to conduct and performance.
  • •           Carry out any cleaning and associated tasks as required.
  • •           Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned, stored and kept in working order.
  • •           Carry out other work-related requests by your line manager in line with company standards
  • •           Ensure all evening deep cleaning is carried out to the correct standard laid out by your line manager

Administration

  • •           Maintain accurate and correct documentation (e.g. logbooks, both physical and electronic)
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to SCC for incidents occurring within the building
  • •           Ensure compliance with legal, Company and contractual obligations, such as the Data Protection Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, procedures outlined in the Company Handbook and Assignment Instructions
  • Report for duty in full site uniform. If not utilised will be re-deployed to manning.
  • •           Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time
  • •           Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time by Nomura International
  • To be available for all rostered shifts. 
  • Carry out any other reasonable request as required by line management

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Willingness to delivery best in class cleaning services
  • Cleaning qualifications (Desirable)
