Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of cleaning services across a diverse portfolio of client sites within the facilities management (FM) industry. This role ensures operational excellence, client satisfaction, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

• Contract Management: Oversee contract execution, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and budget management. Handle contract renewals and negotiations.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise delivery of soft services, develop operational plans, and monitor quality control procedures.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary client contact, build relationships, and report on contract performance.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop contract and subcontracted teams, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulations, prepare performance and financial reports, and manage audits and corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement innovations, and drive service optimisation.

Key Requirements of the Operations Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in managing soft services within the FM industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Proficient in financial and contract management.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills.
