Job Objectives and Responsibilities
- Ensure that the region and areas within are run safely and efficiently to the required standard and is compliant with policy and safe working environment for all.
- Daily communication with the client and Bidvest Noonan management
- Client’s complaints and concerns rectified swiftly
- Stores are managed in line with the specification, contract and budget
- Develop innovation and new ideas to better provide our services
- Ensure accurate payment of wages for all staff through our Timegate time and attendance system
- Where appropriate ensure all company vehicles are clean and well maintained
- Ensure appropriate numbers and calibre of staff available to enable service delivery

Main Duties
• Ensure all stores in region work within agreed budgetary framework
• Visit sites frequently to discuss services provision with the client and Bidvest Noonan area managers
• Document and put into action rectification plans and monitor performance to the clients KPI
• Deal with customer complaints or concerns within 24 hours
• Ensure the Contract Cleaning Specification is adhered too
• Manage all subcontractors
• Ensure the KPI is achieved through the weekly audit process and report to client
• Ensure familiarity with the QHSE policy and duties as an individual and manager as part of that policy
Finance
- Control resources to achieve quality of service whilst keeping within the budget
- Check and order materials/equipment/PPE/uniform within budget through the appropriate systems
- Ensure correct store rotas are inputted into Timegate to reduce the daily arbitrations. Work with area management to ensure the rota’s are being worked correctly. Investigate where needed
- Ensure wage budgets are not exceeded
People
- Ensure all employees are briefed on Pinning Procedures and are adhering to pinning process
- Recruit new colleagues using company procedures and appropriate systems
- Maintain staff numbers at the agreed level
- Ensure all RTW checks are completed, investigate and manage where identified
- Induct new and transferred staff in line with company policies and procedures
- Cascade out all key business updates and news to frontline teams so they are kept informed through appropriate channels, approved by Bidvest Noonan
- Regularly review the training and development needs of individuals.
- Provide area wide training and support for direct reports
- Prepare work schedules and periodic plans. Ensure all periodics plan are signed off, in-line with the contract specifications
- Ensure staff adhere to all site rules and maintain a smart appearance including the wearing of uniforms, PPE
- Address and carry out required processes in relation to disciplinaries and grievances
- Reward and recognise employees using Bidvest Noonan reward schemes
Manage information
- Maintain contract files, ensuring team members undertake relevant training for their roles and recording this in their files
- Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly client meetings to review the performance on contracts
- Carry out regular team briefings with colleagues

- Manage own time effectively. Weekend working may be required on occasion, core operating hours will be from 7am to 3pm, but flexibility is required
