Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Reporting to: Site Cleaning Manager
Direct reports: Team Leaders, Cleaning Operatives
Location: London – LHR16 Principal Place

The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Must have a good understanding of industrial cleaning and great communication skills to support cleaning operatives.
- Highly flexible hand’s on attitude with a demonstrated willingness to take on a responsible approach to any issues.
- Practical and logical approach to problem solving.
- Be a team player with the ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- Have passion for people and cleaning.
- Must have experience in corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
Core Duties
- Assist support and guide cleaning operatives for cleaning operation of the site.
- Prioritise health and safety at all levels.
- Manage and maintain cleaning equipment to high standards.
- Provide handover reports to daily operation of the site.
- Managing Meeting Room Set-Up Operation
- Train, induct and supervise the work of cleaning operatives.
- Hand’s on always prepared to help, guide and support operatives to achieve required service levels.
- Endorse new Company initiatives and ensure they are implemented on site.
- Cleaning Supervisor will provide feedback to the Cleaning Team in relation to their performance and service levels.
- Will organize Toolbox Trainings on Weekly basis?
- Assist guide and support daytime cleaning operatives with the operation of the site.
- Communicate effectively with NOONAN team and sub-contractors daily.
- Ensure staff retention and motivation and develop team members.
- Support Cleaning Manager in the preparation and delivery of site reports.
- To be accountable for the development of employees by identifying training needs and utilising resources provided by the company to progress their skills and knowledge.
- To actively encourage and promote team spirit and development.
- To ensure that all necessary resources, materials and machines are available and on site and maintained to contract specification.
- To attend training courses as requested and update own personal skills and knowledge in areas of business, cleaning industry advancement and health & safety.
- Endorse new Company initiatives and ensure they are implemented on site.
- Due to the nature of the role, extra hours and weekend work may be required for which you will be notified in advance and paid accordingly.
- Inspect the facilities regularly to ensure a high standard of work is maintained.
- Take a hands-on approach to cleaning throughout the site.
- Handle complaints, accidents and incidents, ensuring appropriate resolution.
Person Specification:
- Have previous cleaning experience, with excellent knowledge of cleaning materials and techniques.
- Have a confident and flexible approach
- Be highly organised and be able to schedule staff rotas and distribute work evenly.
- Must have good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Highly flexible with a demonstrated willingness to take on a responsible approach to any issues
