Control Room Operative

Working a mixture of shifts including days, evenings  and weekends

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour minimum 42 hours per week

A fantastic Opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan  portfolio for a Control Room Operator

You will be a vital link between our Client and  customers providing assistance and advice in routine and emergency matters.

Duties:

• Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner at all time.
• Deal and liaise with all incoming calls  and to provide access to remotely monitored sites via telephone
• Maintain records and logs of daily activities
• Follow up any unusual conditions/occurrences with the security teams
• Escalate serious issues/emergencies in line with agreed processes and procedures
• Respond to all telephone requests, liaising with local Management Teams and third-party providers where necessary
• Submit reports on incidents/accidents as instructed by Management

Job role requirements:

• Have the relevant SIA licence (CCTV preferred) CCTV training will be provided post probation period. 
• Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have adequate IT skills, MS Excel, MS Word
• Ability to think and act quickly in emergency situations, or while under pressure is essential
• Be flexible and reliable
