A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor. The role is to support the Account Manager in the core cleaning service delivery to our customer. As an Area Supervisor, you will know what operational excellence looks like and can effectively drive delivery of this via strong leadership. You’ll be someone who gets ‘stuck in’ and wants to be part of an already strong and established team; this is a hands-on role as well as a supervisory role; you will be expected to cover sites that are required.
Responsibilities of the Area Supervisor:
- To support the Account Manager in the day-to-day operations of cleaning services under their remit.
- To support the Area Manager in any people-oriented processes
- To support with payroll
- To actively support cleaning activities for site cover during absence and holidays.
- To support training and development of site teams to ensure the delivery of cleaning services daily is compliant and meets the satisfaction of the customer.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained and conduct quality audits across all sites on a quarterly basis.
- Monitoring of stock levels and requesting replenishment where required.
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the Account Manager
- Providing on-the-job technical guidance, support, and training to site employees
- Carrying out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks where needed
- Act as a key contact for our customers and support the Account Manager in site audits and meetings.
- To proactively maintain regular engagement with key customer contacts in line with client expectations.
- To act as a key contact during absence of the Account Manager
- Ability to review cleaning output and standards; make recommendations for service improvement.
- Work in conjunction with the Account Manager to ensure that regular formal and informal meetings are conducted with clients and cleaners to identify issues or areas of opportunity or concern and to work closely with the wider team.
- Work in conjunction with the Account Management for training & development, performance, motivation, safety, welfare, and discipline of team members.
- Hand’s on and prepared to help, guide and support operatives to achieve required service levels.
- Work in conjunction with the Account Manager to select, recruit and vet employees in alignment with Company and Client policies, terms, and conditions, and be accountable for their induction and ongoing training and development.
- To actively encourage and promote team spirit and development and our People First approach.
- Work in conjunction with the Account management to ensure that all necessary resources, materials, and machines are available and on site and maintained to contract specification.
Requirements of the Area Supervisor:
- Clean driving licence.
- Experience of cleaning services and supervision of teams / team members.
- A neat and tidy appearance is always expected.
- You are required to be flexible to meet the customer’s and company’s expectations.
- You will be required to travel to various sites.
