Title: Security and Safety Contract Manager - 12 month
Location: London with regional travel to client sites (when required)
Hours: 45 hours per week from 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (flexibility is required if dictated by operational demand)
Pay: £58,000 per annum
Objective of role:
To transition from basic guarding to a more integrated, intelligence-led model. The aim is for this role to bridge tactical (day-to-day) and strategic (planning, risk, reporting) needs. The aim is to ensure ownership of security outcomes, not just manned presence.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for all security-related matters
- Liaison between clients Security Team, landlord's security, and Bidvest Noonan manned guarding
- Oversee guarding operations, but also:
- Manage out-of-hours response protocols
- Conduct risk assessments and support incident planning
- Recommend improvements to systems, procedures, and response tactics
- Align service delivery with corporate security strategy
- Develop and maintain a site security plan aligned with the client’s corporate security objective
- Participate in security governance meetings with client and landlords
- Identify and escalate risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure business continuity and incident response plans are in place and tested
- Oversee all guarding staff and shift patterns, including out-of-hours and event coverage
- Manage site access control, CCTV monitoring, and security system compliance
- Conduct routine audits, patrol reviews, and site security assessments
- Lead response to incidents, including after-hours support and escalation
- Coordinate quotes, proposals and business cases for protest response, protective security, additional resourcing etc as required, liaising with Client P & R team on requirements as necessary.
- Serve as main point of contact for, Bidvest Noonan security team, Landlord building security and External emergency services (as required)
- Ensure timely communication of incidents, risks, or service changes
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports and KPI data
- Recruit, train, and mentor guarding personnel to reflect expected service levels
- Promote a customer-first, discreet, and proactive security culture
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Bespoke Client Innovations
- Police liaison across portfolio ensuring high level of engagement – Community engagements etc.
- Ownership of team performance and customer satisfaction
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience:
- Frontline SIA DS licence including CCTV
- Minimum 5 years operational safety & security experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good technical knowledge as well as the ability to multi-task.
- Be able to work under pressure whilst keeping calm and in control.
- Professional qualification in safety & security industry.
- Membership of professional security or risk management body
