Hygiene Cleaning Supervisor (Agri-Foods)

Summary:

Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire a Hygiene Team Supervisor for a site in Grange Castle, Dublin.

This is a position that will suit an organised and energetic candidate with exceptional cleaning standards. The main purpose of the role for the Cleaning Operative is to ensure that their allocated area is cleaned to the required specification whilst adhering to defined procedures and health and safety regulations. Full training will be provided.

Your new role

• Oversee and coordinate hygiene operatives to ensure all cleaning activities meet required specifications and compliance standards.
• Implement and monitor the Site Cleaning Plan, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Supervise the use of high/low-pressure washing systems, cleaning chemicals, and compressed air systems for industrial equipment.
• Manage high-level cleaning tasks and ensure waste disposal processes are completed correctly.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain hygiene standards and complete all checklists accurately.
• Provide clear instructions, training, and support to team members, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
• Act as the main point of contact for hygiene-related queries and liaise with site management to resolve issues promptly.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent attention to detail to meet client requirements and compliance standards.
• A reliable, dedicated, and proactive approach with a thorough understanding of hygiene protocols.

Experience:

• Previous supervisory experience in hygiene or cleaning operations within Agri-Foods or similar industrial environments is highly desirable.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• The provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role.
• High standards of personal presentation.
• Good oral and written English.
• Manual Handling certificate beneficial. 
• You may be required to work in confined spaces
