Mobile Cleaning Operative

To work at multiple sites across a designated area providing cleaning and non-cleaning duties as per the site specification provided by the Area Manager to ensure the required standards are met.
Reporting into the Area Manager you will take responsibility for the standard of cleaning delivered to the sites you are required to operate in. The scope of the role is to ensure that exceptional service levels, client satisfaction, continuous improvement are provided to our customer.
Responsibilities of the Mobile Cleaner:
- Carry out routine and non-routine cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning specification to the required standards.
- Complete a full clean as per the site specification ensuring complete hours are delivered.
- Adhere to Bidvest Noonan policies and procedures.
- Wear correct PPE and uniform.
- Report faulty machinery or equipment.
- Adhere to Health and Safety processes and report health and safety hazards
- Complete signing in and out procedures via a phone app using the Timegate System.
- Complete stock takes and support the ordering and replenishment of cleaning products and equipment if requested.
- Liaise with the client to understand ad hoc requirements.
- Deliver stock, equipment, or documentation to sites as and when required.
- Ensure the company vehicle you use is kept clean and report any faults or accidents.
- Log vehicle journey mileage daily using appropriate documentation.
- Demonstrate best practice people management by ensuring that all Company policies and procedures are embedded within the contracts.
- Where appropriate check site specification is in place and that the site manual is complete.
- Co-operate with Bidvest Noonan on matters of health, safety and welfare to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations.
- Use all equipment and substances in accordance with their training and instruction.
- Make full and proper use of any safety system of work introduced as a requirement of the Health and Safety Policy.
- Inform your immediate line manager of any situation representing a serious and immediate danger to Health and Safety.
- Notify your immediate line manager of any shortcomings in the Health and Safety arrangements.
- Use and take care of any equipment in accordance with the conclusions of the risk assessments and the Health and Safety Policy.
- Return equipment to its allocated storage place after use.
- Immediately report any loss or defect of equipment to your immediate line manager.
- Report any personal injury, dangerous occurrence or work-related disease to your immediate line manager and ensure that an entry is made in the Accident Book according to Health and Safety.
Requirements of the Mobile Cleaner:
- A full UK driving license as company vehicle will be supplied
- Ability to work alone or in part of a team.
- Ability to accurately carry out verbal and written instruction to a high standard.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures and instructions to a high standard.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Ability to act in a professional manner.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
