Night Security Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Night Security Supervisor based at one of our prestigious client sites in Co. Dublin

Position: Full Time

Hours: 48 Hours per week.

We require Officers to be PSA licenced.

The Site Supervisor role is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising a team of night shift security officers and control room operators.
• Covering break periods for the night-shift security team.
• Prevent and investigate incidents.
• Compiling all Incident Reports.
• Maintain a secure environment for all staff and students.
• Liaise with Gardai and emergency services as required.
• Implement all site SOPs.
• Monitor all patrols and ensure they are completed at the allocated times.
• Conduct spot checks on all security personnel throughout the shift.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports. Daily Occurrence Logs FSAs
• Ensure staff understand company policy and rules regarding security measures and demonstrate compliance and controls.
• Coordinate all emergency procedures to include fire/sprinkler/intruder alarm response
• Conduct required checks, tests to include FSAs.
• Ensure staff are properly presented and perform to customer service standards.
• Demonstrate strong, positive communication to all levels, motivating the team and building good working relationships within the team.
• Constantly project a professional image of the company by being an ambassador of Bidvest Noonan’s PRIDE values: Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Determination, and Excellence
• Additional duties as assigned by the Security Manager.

Role Requirements:

• Basic Guarding Skills - QQI Level 4
• Private Security Authority License - Static
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in the industry
• Experience of leading a small team of security officers and control room operators.
• Knowledge of security systems to include intruder, access control, fire/sprinkler. systems
• Ability to motivate a team with effective communication
• English communication skills (oral & written)
• Valid work permit/visa (if applicable)
• Basic IT skills

• Ability to work shift-based roster schedules, including weekdays and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability to work as part of a team.
