Site Security Manager

Title: Site Security Manager 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Site Security Manager, who will work at our client’s prestigious Media City Estate. 

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision

Duties as a Site Security Manager

• Management and ongoing training of all security personnel
• Ensuring the clients security and health & safety policies are always adhered to
• Quality checking the work of the security team
• Ensure that all incidents are escalated accordingly
• Making security recommendations to site management
• At the request of management, support with investigations or any other reasonable task
• Ensure the tasking and adherence of Assignment Instructions
• Ensure that all relevant 'On Site’ training has been completed
• Undertake any other duties given by the Strategic Account Manager
• Be available for Duty Manager escalation both in and out of hours
• Be willing to attend site out of hours for emergencies and team assistance for events such as Demonstrations and planned site events
• To assist in the retention of the customer ensuring that the level of service provided meets or exceeds the SLA
• To actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards
•  Fully responsible for the daily running of the account, by undertaking timely recruitment and training for staff to meet
• Swift resolution to any queries where necessary, in conjunction with the Account manager
• Responsible for co ordinating responses to emergencies, including evacuations of sites
• Ensure on going internal security audits are conducted with the view of identifying and rectifying potential weak areas, and to ensure that the solutions are provided to the client then incorporated into the assignment instructions and rolled out to all
• Ensuring adequate and appropriate training, advice and support is provided to make the team successful
• Growth of the Portfolio revenue and profitability through expansion of account, minimizing reductions and losses; and appropriate price increases
• Capture of additional profitable revenue opportunities where these arise and do not impact core Portfolio service

Job role requirements as a Site Security Manager

• 1+ years’ experience managing a team in a security capacity
• Experience using Microsoft Office and be computer literate
• A valid SIA security licence – Door Supervision/Security Guarding
• Experience in conducting investigations/Note Taking/Disciplinary Proceedings
• An excellent understanding of CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems
• Knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE), GDPR, and The Theft Act.
• Experience working in a Fast-paced office, Estate and Studios environment warehousing / e-commerce environment (preferred but not essential)
