About The Role

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 16
Reporting To: Facilities Manager & Contract Manager
Salary:  €64,700

Role Objective:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of facilities services in Dundrum Town Centre. Acting as the main on-site Facilities contact, the Maintenance Supervisor will need to ensure continuity of service delivery, health & safety compliance and technical coordination, supporting the Facilities Manager across the portfolio.

Team Structure:

The Maintenance Supervisor will report to both the FM and CM and liaise closely with the Centre Management Team, contractors, service partners and the wider facilities and operations team. The Maintenance Supervisor will work independently on day-to-day coordination tasks while escalating strategic or complex issues to the FM/CM as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Principal point of contact for all day-to-day maintenance issues within Dundrum.
  • Oversee and prioritise daily reactive & planned maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate all on-site contractors and service providers, ensuring tasks are completed to agreed standards.
  • Provide technical advice and escalate more complex technical issues as needed.
  • Ensure ongoing health & safety compliance within the Centre, including regular inspections.
  • Monitor compliance actions on Vision and support with closing out outstanding items.
  • Liaise with security, cleaning, and other operational teams to support integrated service delivery.
  • Maintain and update maintenance logs, contractor records and permit-to-work documentation.
  • Provide input into performance dashboards and compliance reports.
  • Assist in the coordination of minor works and improvement project.

Contractor & Compliance Management:

  • Supervise the delivery of services by external maintenance providers.
  • Conduct contractor inductions and ensure appropriate RAMS and permits are in place.
  • Support with fire strategy implementation and testing of life safety systems.
  • Carry out regular building inspections and log remedial works in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all M&E plant, lighting and infrastructure are operating correctly and efficiently. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Support:

  • Provide professional and responsive service to tenants and Centre teams.
  • Escalate and report on issues affecting tenant operations or visitor safety.
  • Represent the facilities team in internal meetings and operational briefings.
  • Support business continuity planning and emergency response coordination.

Required Qualifications, Skill & Experience: 

  • Qualified Electrician or Building Services Engineer (time-served tradesperson).
  • Experienced in supervising maintenance and building services in a retail or commercial setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation and operational risk management.
  • Ability to manage contractors and ensure high standards of compliance.
  • Effective communicator, able to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with FM systems such as Vision, CAFM, or PPM scheduling tools is desirable.
  • IWFM/BIFM Leve 3 or equivalent experience (or willingness to work toward qualification).
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
Note: This role is vital to maintaining consistent service delivery and operational control at Dundrum Town Centre. Duties may evolve to support the wider portfolio.
