Security Team Leader Ulster University Campus

The Role                                                                                                         

The position will hold responsibility for front line supervision and performance of all Bidvest Noonan Facility Staff with particular focus on the Security Services delivered under contract.

• Ability to lead by example encouraging all teams to deliver an excellent level of customer service.
• Efficient operation of Control room, including all systems
• Working knowledge of Access control
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent is gathering factual information to prepare accurate reports and upload to the reporting system
• Ensure patrol are completed, carryout to the highest standard and recorded.
• The effective deployment of all security resources
• Car park and Traffic management
• Responsible for conducting routine inventory audits and equipment inspections to ensure all assets are accounted for, properly maintained, and in safe working condition
• Successful candidate must demonstrate at least 5 years’ experience within the Security Service and can demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate legal compliance with all current legislation to front line manage all service teams on site. (SIA Security Guarding Driving Licence & CCTV licence essential)
• Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing work environment with ability to prioritise and make decisions quickly on the ground with valid reasoning.
• Ability to performance manage individuals through coaching, motivation, team training and internal company procedures
• Ability to complete return to work interview, appraisals & one-to-one meetings.
• Respectful to the needs of each individual within the team, and that of the client.
• Ability to take direction from both Ulster University & Bidvest Noonan Management, communicating effectively both via informal and formal means
• Aware of the KPI that are essential to the team

Working pattern

4 day shift, 4 off, 4 night shift

Overtime is essential for holidays, absence & events cover

This can be scheduled in advance or last minute.

Pay rate - £15.47 an hour

Essential

Must have a 5-year working history in a similar role 

Valid SIA Door Supervisor & Valid CCTV Licence

Valid Driving Licence

Efficient in Microsoft Office
