Senior Supervisor – Cleaning Services

Job Summary

The Senior Supervisor – Cleaning Services is responsible for managing and overseeing cleaning operations across multiple sites, including corporate offices, libraries, and schools. The role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, while leading cleaning teams and coordinating with clients and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning operations across multiple sites
• Lead, train, and support supervisors and cleaning staff
• Prepare and manage duty rosters, schedules, and staff allocations
• Ensure compliance with cleaning standards, safety regulations, and site-specific requirements
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of all assigned sites
• Address client feedback, complaints, and service improvement actions
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, and discipline
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Manage inventory levels and request supplies as required
• Prepare operational reports and incident documentation
• Support deep cleaning, special events, and emergency cleaning needs
• Use the systems such timegate, task, aggresso.

  Site-Specific Responsibilities

• Corporate Sites: Maintain professional standards, meeting room readiness, washroom hygiene, and office cleanliness
• Libraries: Ensure quiet operations, dust control, care of bookshelves, and study areas
• Schools: Maintain high hygiene standards in classrooms, washrooms, cafeterias, and playground areas, with attention to child safety

Working Conditions

The role may require shift work and travel between sites. The position involves physical activity, site inspections, and occasional manual cleaning tasks.
