Housekeeping Executive

Position Summary
As an integral member of the Facilities and Community Team, the Housekeeping Executive is entrusted with upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the workplace. This role is pivotal in maintaining an immaculate and welcoming environment, with particular attention to social and kitchen zones, meeting spaces, and high-traffic communal areas. By delivering exemplary service and supporting operational excellence, the Housekeeping Executive plays a key role in elevating the workplace experience for both employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Facilities Presentation
• Ensure all communal areas, including meeting rooms and social zones, are pristine and consistently presentable.
• Execute timely waste collection and disposal throughout the day.
• Conduct spot cleaning in high-traffic and visible areas to always maintain professional standards.
• Collect crockery, glassware, and food waste at scheduled intervals to support a clean and organised environment.
• Communicate effectively with the Community Host regarding kitchen and consumable orders.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new skills relevant to the role.
Kitchen & Social Zone Maintenance
• Operate dishwashers efficiently, including initiating short wash cycles as necessary.
• Replenish kitchen supplies and consumables proactively throughout the day.
• Ensure all kitchen and social zones remain hygienic, orderly, and fully stocked.
• Service and maintain coffee machines during business hours, monitoring inventory and placing supply orders via Recko when required.
• Maintain floor cleanliness using iMop Lite technology, ensuring a polished and hazard-free surface.
Health, Safety & Hygiene Compliance
• Promptly report any safety hazards or near-miss incidents in alignment with company protocols.
• Actively contribute to a safe working environment by participating in “Good Catch” reporting.
• Provide reactive cleaning support as required during the day.
• Participate in team meetings, including weekly huddles, monthly toolbox talks, and other collaborative forums.
• Regularly check and restock First Aid kits in designated areas.
• Create a welcoming and relaxed environment for both professional interactions and for colleagues working in newly developed social zones.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene are always maintained, supported by holding a Basic Food Hygiene certification.
• Proactively report good catches, issues or any concerns in line with operational procedures.
Client Interaction & Support
• Deliver courteous, discreet, and proactive service to clients and visitors at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the Community Host to ensure alignment on service delivery and daily priorities.
• Distribute hygiene materials (e.g., hand wipes, sanitiser) while maintaining a polished and welcoming atmosphere.
Meeting Room Stewardship
• Perform ongoing spot checks to ensure meeting rooms remain clean, organised, and fully prepared for successive bookings.
.• Provide light refresh services and readiness support between meetings as needed.
Specialist Duties
• Conduct IT equipment cleaning and workplace deep cleans on designated low-traffic days (e.g., “Friday Specials”).
