Oversee daily security operations, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with company and client requirements.
• Manage staff performance, including training, coaching, disciplinary actions, and ongoing development.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for all security team members.
• Coordinate operational rosters, manage absence reporting, and maintain all relevant operational documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and client-specific procedures.
• Assist the Security Manager in achieving the objectives of the building’s security function.
• Develop and maintain the building’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support the Security Manager in keeping all procedures up to date.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and professional reports on incidents, activities, and operational matters.
• Ensure all records and logs—such as patrol logs, CCTV checks, and access control reports—are properly maintained.
• Report significant security incidents to the relevant manager and support full investigations to establish all facts.
• Train security personnel on correct reporting standards and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate appropriate responses to emergencies and incidents, ensuring swift and effective action.
• Lead and manage building evacuations in accordance with the established evacuation plan.
• Monitor and manage access control systems and CCTV operations.
• Maintain strong communication and positive working relationships with tenants, building management, and external partners.
• Liaise closely with local police and other emergency services when required.
• Deliver high‑quality security services that meet or exceed customer expectations and support overall operational service delivery.
• Enhance customer relationships by ensuring timely and effective responses to all security issues and events.
