About The Role

We are looking for a Security Officer to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. Does this sound like you?  

 RESPONSIBILITIES (in addition to adhering to Site Operating Procedures and Assignment Instructions):

  • Maintain accurate and up to date key handling records
  • Monitor CCTV & Access Control
  • Maintain accurate Journal and handover documents
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and contractor pass issue logs
  • Produce timely and accurate incident reports for distribution, and escalate as required.
  • Provide first aid support to client, and report as required.
  • Complete regular and adhoc patrols of premises, and report any issues as required
  • Provide regular and updated reports on all issues within your role’s responsibilities to the relevant parties.
  • Be point of contact for all emergency incident response.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Build relationships with and provide support to client team as and when required.
  • Manage Front of House duties, including but not limited to visitor and event support and administration, access control, incident response.
  • To undertake all special projects and duties as required by Site Security Manager.
  • This role will be 10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and the candidate will need to be flexible in order to meet the needs of the contract, and provide support to the Contract Security Manager, and business requirements.

  • Hold or be legible to hold UKSV SC clearance
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Self motivated and excellent organisational skills
  • Client awareness and customer focus skills
  • Good I.T. Skills
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Be proactive & reactive
  • A good geographical knowledge of the assignment
  • Ability to closely follow stringent procedures and policies
  • Flexible to the needs of the position and Company
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
