Security - Security Controller

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a CCTV Controller.

This role will be working in a Control Room environment.

We require Officers to be SIA Licenced – Security Guard/Door Supervision and CCTV Licence.

Duties as a CCTV Controller

• Ensure the site is secure & protected from Flood, Damage, Fire & Theft at all times
• Internal & external patrols of all centre areas including the car parks
• Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur, any patrols that have taken place & any specific checks that have been made
• Cover lock/unlock duties
• Ensure relevant checks are carried out on all security plane & equipment used for personal use & report any defects if required
• Comply with all data protection regulations regarding all information accessed during the course of duty
• Ensure all keys are held & used in accordance with all security procedures
• Liaise with the team in relation to any car park issues/faults
• Complete daily security checks
• Liaise where necessary with the local police & fire services to enhance the Security image of the centre
• Switch on/off power supplies as required in and around the centre
• To ensure that all aspects such as evacuations, security alerts & public disorder are attended to in accordance with training received
• To carry out any other security controller related tasks as required by the Security Manager

Job role requirements as a Security Controller

• Do you have a valid CCTV license is essential as well as SIA Door Supervision/Security Guarding?
• Do you have a fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history?
• Do you have clear communication & administration skills?
• Do you have excellent customer service skills?
• Do you have a flexible approach to shift patterns, operational procedures & staff cover requirements?
