Location: School of Education , NUI Maynooth North Campus, Maynooth, Co Kildare, W23 F2H6

Contract: Part-time and full time position (Temporary) Monday-Sunday 

Pay Rate: €14.80 per hour

About the Role

Bidvest Noonan is recruiting Summer Cleaning Operatives for the Maynooth campus in Maynooth on a part-time temporary basis for the summer months.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be based within Maynooth student accommodation, supporting cleaning the campus during its busiest period. You will play a key role in ensuring that rooms and shared facilities are cleaned, maintained, and prepared to a high standard for guests throughout the summer season.

Key Responsibilities of Cleaning Operative:

· Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas within MU buildings

· Adhere to waste management procedures

· Ensure storerooms are stocked and kept tidy

· Follow all health & safety guidelines at all times

· Perform general cleaning tasks including:

o Vacuuming

o Mopping

o Dusting

o Cleaning touch points

· Report any issues, damage, or maintenance needs

· Complete ad-hoc or emergency cleaning tasks as required

Key Requirements of Cleaning Operative:

· Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

· Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload

· Strong attention to detail

· Takes pride in delivering high-quality work

· Previous cleaning experience is an advantage; full training is provided

• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
• Carry out any reasonable work instruction to the standard required
• To carry out regular and thorough treatments/inspections so as to maintain such conditions
• Dust control/vacuum and mop floors & Buff/Polish floors where needed 
• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy.
• Alongside, Empty and reline waste bins & dispose of rubbish
