About The Role: 

Key responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative 

• Cleaning the coaches and buses to best quality 

• Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats and luggage racks and driver’s cabin 

• Checking vehicle for any lost property 

• Wiping down all armrests, windowsills and trays 

• Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth 

• Hoovering any carpets (and seats if required) 

• Buckle up all seat belts, mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath 

• Wiping Overhead luggage racks and footrests 

• Cleaning Coach toilets 

• Completing the cleaning checklist and displaying at front of vehicle 

• Touch Point Cleaning 

Key requirements for a Bus Cleaning Operative 

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team 

• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload 

• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided 

• A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
