About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Part Time Security Officer who will work on site with one of our pharma clients in Galway. This is a position that will suit an organised and energetic individual with great leadership skills as well as passion for Security and likes to be hands-on.

The position would require working nights, 12hrs shifts, Minimum of 24hrs per week.

Rate of Pay : €15.41 Per Hour, €3.44 additional sunday premium per hour. €20 Night shift allowance per shift.

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

Applicants must be PSA licenced

The Security Officer role is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with Bidvest Noonan Management and the National Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
Act as an ambassador for Bidvest Noonan conducting your activities in a professional and courteous way.
Ensure that access control procedures are adhered to and escalate any issues in relation to the same.
Perform Front of house duties in an office setting.
Patrolling of building in line with onsite SOP’s
Report any security events in the onsite log
Deal with emergency situations as per Assignment Instruction
Support emergency services as required
Complete End of Shift report detailing activities conducted throughout the day

Requirements:

Do you have previous experience is a similar role?
Do you have good communication skills
5 Year checkable background
Full Driving Licence
