About The Role

Reporting To

Operations Manager

Location

Belfast City Centre

20 Hours per week however this may increase due to business needs

£15.50 per hour including travel allowance

Job Purpose

To oversee daily security operations on site for night shift security team, ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors, and assets. The Security Site Supervisor leads the on-site security team, enforces procedures, and maintains high standards of service and compliance.

Shifts are primarily nights with occasional weekends, and public holidays however a level of flexibility if required to meet the customer during business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

Supervise and support a team of security officers and supervisors.
Support with duties and shift rotas.
Conduct briefings and debriefings.
Monitor performance and provide coaching or corrective action where needed.
Act as the main point of contact for on-site security matters.

Security Operations

Ensure all security procedures and policies are followed.
Conduct regular patrols and inspections.
Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
Ensure proper incident handling and escalation.

Administration & Reporting

Maintain accurate records (logs, reports, attendance).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
Ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant.

Customer Service

Provide a visible and professional security presence.
Engage with clients, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner.
Ensure any issues are handled promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) (UK requirement)
Previous experience in a security supervisory role
Experience working in similar environments (corporate, retail, industrial, etc.)
First Aid certification (desirable)
Knowledge of health & safety regulations
