Cleaner – Shopping Centre

As a Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the centre remains an attractive and enjoyable place for shoppers, retailers, visitors, and local residents. Your work will help create positive first impressions and contribute to an exceptional experience for everyone who visits.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same in a busy community shopping centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout all public areas, including malls, entrances, washrooms, staff areas, and external spaces.
- Carrying out routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
- Ensuring washroom facilities are clean, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Promptly responding to spillages and cleaning-related incidents to maintain a safe environment.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify areas requiring attention.
- Supporting the presentation of the shopping centre to ensure it remains welcoming for visitors and retailers.
- Working closely with the wider site team to maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant environment.
- Following health and safety procedures and using cleaning equipment and materials correctly.
- Assisting during community events and busy trading periods to ensure standards are maintained throughout the day.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the appropriate team members.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
