Cleaning - Cleaning Operative

Key Responsibilities  

• Ensure all machinery checklists are completed, daily.

  Loading customer trailers when required {via 3 tonne forklift Truck}

  Loading customer containers when required {via 5 tonne Forklift Truck}

  Hygiene maintenance of forklifts when required {leaving the forklift cabin free from PPE and rubbish}

  Maintain hygiene of the site using a mechanical sit-down sweeper.

  Loading empty pallets on trailers when required

  Loading IBC bins on trailers when required

  Supporting waste day shift operations.

  Collection of 20kg waste bins from the production hall for processing contents and returning the waste bin to the production hall.

  Maintenance of 20kg waste bins, {replacing wheels etc}

  Collection of 1 metre roll stillages from the production hall for processing and return the stillage when emptied to the production hall.

  Collection of green skips from the production hall for processing and return the stillage when emptied to the production hall.

  Removing waste pallets from the production hall {but only when secured to the pallet} and storing them in the yard’s storage areas.

  Removing only the authorised empty pallets from the production hall and storing them in the pallet area uniformed and with any rubbish {card or Plastic} removed.

  Removing from the production hall anything asked to be removed and process correctly.

  Completing reasonable general duties and request.

   

• Forklift Licence or forklift experience

• Do you have good time management?
• Could you work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality?
• Do you have the ability to escalate of any near misses, incidents or accidents to the Supervisor / Management team?
