Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Mitchelstown, Co.Cork
Hourly Rate: €14.50
Hours: 2 PM to 8:30 PM
Days: Monday -Friday
Sundays when required for 2 hour shift.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Mitchelstown, Co Cork. In this role, you will oversee cleaning operations, ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, and contribute to a safe and organised work environment.
Job Purpose: It is essential that the client’s site is maintained to excellent standards. To enable this the position is a two-part position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision (and direction where needed) of all cleaning team activities
- Maintaining excellent client relationship
- Advocating and developing a positive team spirit which will involve maintaining and developing high levels of safety, health, and environmental protection
- Monitoring of work through daily spot checks, audits, and staff interactions to ensure high standards are maintained
- Management of staff rosters to ensure absenteeism and annual leave cover
- Resolution of issues where they arise in a professional manner, and fair treatment of all
- Management of wages and holidays
- Preparation of work schedules / rosters
- Implementation of (including the arrangement of) staff training when required
- Other works as needed
Person Specification
Essential Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:
- Cleaning experience is essential
- Supervisor experience will be an advantage, but training will be provided
- Computer literate is an advantage, but training will be provided
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communicator
- High sense of responsibility
- Ability to identify issues and take action when needed in a safe and timely manner
- Ability to empower and motivate others
