Responsibilities
As a Training Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Develop and deliver security training programs
- Assess training needs and create customised modules
- Coordinate training schedules and logistics
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements
- Stay updated on security industry best practices
- Assist with the onboarding and account set up of all new employees
- lead security training projects to evaluate the impact of training, redesign existing standards, create new learning tools to address gaps and/or strengthen the management and quality assurance processes
- Actively seeks to improve programmes or services; offers new and different options to solve problems or meet client needs
- take a lead responsibility for all quality assurance
- inspire, motivate and support to drive quality of delivery
- develop and implement a learner and employer needs analysis to support the development of people plans
- shape our Security Officers training provision teaching approach using innovative, engaging, digital and individualised learning methods.
- drive continuous improvement across the accounts
- build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues and partners
Job Role Requirements:
To excel as a Security Coordinator, you should possess:
Top 5 Key Requirements:
- Knowledge in the field of security systems such as Lenel, SIM-ticketing and Bosch CCTV or similar systems is desired
- Previous Data Centre experience is an advantage.
- design, delivery and evaluation of training and learning
- 1 years’ experience in a training specific role or Data Centre security environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have the ability to confidently deliver training content within a team environment
- Ability to provide quality customer service to our client
Qualifications:
Proven experience in security training and development
QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer certification
Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
Data Centre experience is advantageous
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to inspire and educate our security team
