Facilities Technician

Job Title: Facilities Technician

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Facilities Technician to join our team at a prestigious pharmaceutical site in West Dublin. Working within a GMP-regulated environment, you will support the maintenance, reliability, and compliance of site facilities and equipment while developing your career in Facilities Management.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent learning and development opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Technician:

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues to minimise downtime.
• Manage work orders and update asset management systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation in line with GMP requirements.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with site standards.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety checks, and site walkdowns.
• Support site projects, shutdowns, and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset information.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GMP, and quality standards.
• Participate in the on-call rota as required.

Key Requirements of the Facilities Technician:

• Experience in a facilities, maintenance, or technical role.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience within a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or GMP environment is desirable.
