Retail Security Officer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for  Retail Security Officer, who will work at our client’s prestigious premises.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced – Security Guarding/Door Supervision

The Security Officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

Duties as a Retail Security Officer

• Response to emergency procedures and escalate any issues as per SOPs
• Provide a welcoming and engaging experience for those passing through the front of house
• Correct etiquette of Client’s radio and telephone systems
• Conduct and/or assist in audits where required
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly system checks
• Covering of breaks across multiple locations
• Complete daily logs to high standard
• Provide detailed handovers to colleagues, contract management and/or client
• General administration of Site Security Operations
• Participate in training and mentor/train other team members where required
• Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are followed and challenge where necessary
• Colleague and visitor engagement, service and management
• Providing excellent communication client, colleagues, visitors ensuring comprehensive service
• Ensuring building and security procedures are adhered to

• A valid SIA Licence – Door Supervision/Security Guarding
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer/Client focused
• Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisions during incidents and difficult situations
• Excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner.
