Industrial Cleaning Supervisor

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Site Manager in overseeing and supporting various industrial cleaning projects . Your key responsibilities will include providing direction and guidance to cleaning team members, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, and arranging work schedules to ensure projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

The Supervisor must utilise staff and themselves in order to maintain the schedule of work.
The Supervisor should actively strive for good working relationships on site and appropriately and delicately deal with an issue arising.
The Supervisor must ensure that operatives adhere to regulations such as start, finish and break times. The supervisor is also responsible for enforcing site standards and conducting necessary disciplinary procedures.
All incidents must be reported to the Senior Manager to input into Noonan internal systems.
The client must be made aware of an incidents/accident and a hard copy of incident report to be kept on file
The supervisor must develop a good working relationship with the JLL client and ensure effective two-way communication
Carry out any reasonable work instruction to the standard required.
Provide professional leadership and guidance to staff.
Actively manage probation for the team.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Prioritise Health & Safety and strive towards eliminating all avoidable accidents.
Supervisor to ensure staff are given Toolbox talks and Safety tips.
Supervisor to ensure that all Equipment is in good working order and report any defects.
Supervisor to ensure Signage and Barriers are used at all times.
Supervisor to ensure that site safety rules are adhered to at all times.
Assist Senior Manager to ensure monthly safety audits are completed.
