Role Overview

The Customer Service Assistant plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for all visitors to the shopping centre. The role involves providing information, resolving customer queries, and supporting centre operations while representing the shopping centre in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers at the information desk, via phone, email, or in person
• Provide accurate information on store locations, opening times, promotions, events, and centre facilities
• Assist customers with directions, accessibility support, lost property, and general enquiries
• Handle customer complaints, concerns, and incidents calmly and professionally, escalating when required
• Support centre initiatives such as gift card sales, competitions, and events
• Monitor and report issues within the centre, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety concerns
• Liaise with retailers, security, cleaning, and management teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, enquiries, lost property, and feedback
• Uphold the shopping centre’s brand standards, customer service values, and appearance guidelines

Requirements

• Availability on Saturdays & Sundays
• Professional, customer-friendly demeanor and appearance
• Strong customer service skills
• Willing to work a flexible schedule
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Word
•  Phone etiquette and call management skills
