Site Security Manager

Position: Full Time

Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00 - 17:00, Friday's 07:00 - 15:00

Rate of Pay: €18.50 p/h 

Responsibilities

As a Security Manager, your duties will include:

• Leading, organising, managing and developing site teams, organising and providing day-to-day management of all aspects of the Security Team
• Delivering a high quality, customer focused service through strong leadership and assisting in the development of a customer driven culture
• Management, coordination, coaching and development of the Security Teams
• Ensuring all client performance matters are managed, reported and meet the agreed KPIs for daily operations
• Ensuring maximum compliance with predetermined Service Level Agreements of our clients and report back to the business accordingly
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of our Security Team, guiding them in following required procedures and policies
• Monitoring Security Team activities across the site, ensuring security standards meets client needs
• Representing Bidvest Noonan in operational interactions with security personnel and other companies as necessary
• Attending meetings and providing insightful reports and recommendations on security operations
• Efficiently managing and controlling responses to all incidents
• Collaborating with Bidvest Noonan Operations Management Team to identify and implement service improvements
• Overseeing Timegate and Agresso administration
• Conducting monthly audits of services to ensure quality and compliance
• Embodying Bidvest Noonan's Credo by projecting a professional company image
• Adhering to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
• Leading by example and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company safety and quality standards
• Ensuring that the Security Teams understand and follow client confidentiality rules
• Leading a culture of reward and recognition through the development of people to minimise employee turnover, encouraging appropriate attitudes and behaviours and increased employee engagement results
• Ensuring that all employees are recruited, vetted and fully licensed in accordance with legislation and agreed client and Bidvest Noonan HR policies and procedures
• Demonstrating leadership in best practice people management by ensuring that all Bidvest Noonan HR policies and procedures are embedded within the contract

EHSQ Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all employees comply with company policies related to Health and Safety at Work Regulations
• Following the Company accident reporting procedure and assisting promptly and accurately with relevant documentation
• Responding effectively to emergency situations while minimising disruptions to service delivery
• Reporting any health and safety concerns
• Reporting all near misses and good catches to the Operations Manager and logging on Agresso

Job Role Requirements:

To excel as a Security Manager, you should have:

• A valid PSA Licence
• Previous experience in a similar role, deemed essential
• A comprehensive understanding of regulations and working laws governing the safety and security of staff, visitors, contractors and colleagues
• Proficiency in Evacuation and Emergency procedures, evacuation principles and effective communication
• Strong incident and crisis management capabilities
• Excellent written and numeracy skills for preparing rosters, timesheets, and various reports
• Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to prioritise and manage a dynamic workload
• Proficiency in computer usage, an absolute must
